Industrial Communication Contractors, Inc. (ICC) provides installation, maintenance, design, consultation and comprehensive solutions to our customers in the areas of data and voice communications. ICC also provides subcontract installation services to telephone switch vendors, data communication network integrators, general contractors, architects and electrical engineers. ICCworks closely with these design and engineering groups to ensure the system limitations are maintained while meeting local and national codes. ICC provides the following products and services:

ICC provides a well-equipped, highly skilled workforce that is experienced in the design and placement of fiber optic technology. We use the latest equipment in terminating, testing and documenting the fiber optic cable. This allows us greater efficiency during the installation process. ICC also offers additional products used in the connection of fiber optic systems, including Network Concentrators, Multiplexers, Network Interface Cards and Fiber Optic Transceivers. These products provide a high speed transmission media for voice, video and data that is free from noise, distortion and interference.

ICC technicians have been installing UTP (Unshielded Twisted-pair) Cable and STP (Shielded Twisted-Pair) cable for more than 20 years. The cabling industry has changed dramatically in the past few years. ICC has stayed current with this evolving technologyas documented in the national wiring standards produced by the IEEE committees, EIA/TIA 568A, and all subsequent publications. ICC utilizes the most modern equipment allowing us to test Category 5 cable installations up to 100 Mhz. In addition, major manufacturers authorize ICC in specific cabling warranty programs such as Lucent Technologies, AMP, Mod-Tap, Ortronics, Panduit, Superior Modular and Thomas & Betts. We maintain the latest termination and labeling equipment required for all installed systems.

ICC regularly designs and installs computer room data, voice and electrical systems. Our installations range from large complex systems found in corporate headquarters to systems found in small business offices. Our services include a complete inventory of the cabling and electrical systems complete with industry proven cost saving recommendations.

ICC has completed multiple projects for companies like UUNET, BBN, MCI/WorldCom, Williams, Nextlink and Qwest. We offer a variety of installation, support, design and maintenance services for central office and related environments. We have technicians trained specifically on the installation of the latest equipment, using specialized tooling and techniques. Our technicians work directly with customer engineers to advise site conditions and provide project status reports. Some customers trust ICC explicitly, granting us unlimited access to all sites in order to perform engineering, installation and maintenance services.

ICC design engineers and technicians can provide services to install and implement a single or multizone paging system with all adapters, amplifiers and speakers. These design and installation services include office and warehouse environments. All systems are balanced prior to customer acceptance.

ICC maintains a complete service department responsible for troubleshooting, small installations and other cable and equipment moves and changes. All MAC technicians and service vans are trained for quick response and installation while continuing the quality of installation standards we are recognized for in the industry. The technicians are radio dispatched from our facility and carry all the necessary material and testing equipment typically required for small jobs.

ICC understands your communication needs, from switched to dedicated, simple to complex. In order to provide a full-service, single source solution, CCI can help custom design a network from a variety of network services and transport speeds. In conjunction with our business partners, we provide customers with an optimum, cost-effective solution. ICC offers support services for all our network implementations by utilizing manufacturer support services in conjunction with our engineering staff.

Industrial Communication Contractors, Inc. is pleased to present service and support programs for all customers. Our goal is to provide our customers with a comprehensive support program that will cover all wiring system changes or non-warranty problems. On-site maintenance consists of 7a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday excluding holidays. ICC will provide our 800 number for requests for maintenance and support. All on-site support will be dispatched out of our Alabama office.
We work with each customer to develop an hourly rate schedule and response format to meet their specific needs. Schedules include both full or part time on site support programs. Please contact our service department for further information.
In cases where our customers require emergency service programs, we can develop a response time schedule that meets critical needs.
